Friday 10th: Mesmerene / St. Dukes / TRIMM / Victorias Flight
Mesmerene are a dynamic four piece Glasgow band who formed in October 2013.
Their music covers a wide range of musical genres with their main influences coming from the likes of Radiohead, Oasis, Nirvana & Blur.
The band made their live debut in February 2014 and have gone on to play many successful live shows honing their superb sound along the way. The band have previously played a headline gig in King Tuts Wah Wah Hut and a main support slot in Oran Mor.
Mesmerene just last year released their new three track ep, Battle Scars, which comprises of the uplifting Fire and Ashes, live favourite These Days and the anthemic Bleeding Heart. To coincide with the release, the band played blistering sell out show in Glasgow’s 13th Note they then went onto play a blistering set Supporting The Duke Spirit at King Tut’s in October last year.
St. Dukes – Formed in 2014, St. Dukes are a four piece band based in Glasgow, playing grungy blues with harmonies and elements of punk creeping in.
Victorias Flight – A four-piece band from Glasgow that combine strands of Indie, Alternative and Pop into one melodic element of noise. This is the sound of Victoria’s Flight
Trimm Band – Three piece Indie Rock & Roll band from Clackmannanshire.
